What movie(s) does everyone seem to think the sequel was better - but you disagree and think the original is the best?

For me it will always be the TerminatorT2 has the better special effects and big budget action sequences for sureBut for me T1 is the more complete movieThe theme of man vs machine when Sarah and Kyle are trying to escape the Terminator makes the villain far scarier and stronger. There isn't much they can do to stop itIn T2 it's machine vs stronger machineT1 stays on point tonally the whole movie. It is unrelenting with its dark atmosphere and plotT2 has too much of the young John Connor hollywood popcorn flick humor. It often detracts from the seriousness of their situation.Arnold being slightly less famous helps T1 a lot.
