The first half of the Blaire Witch Project is absolutely terrifying even without any Blaire Witch. Just watching these people lose their minds is so relatable because they're just lost and fucked even without anything else happening.

The first part with them fucking up and seeing the degradation in communication and mood just throws me off and makes me feel so uncomfortable. Even just analysing it instead of watching it and letting the tension build is hard and I have to pause every 30 seconds.It's a masterpiece in realism and acting.
