I knew it was poorly received even before I saw it. But dear Lord it was bad.The plot was like poorly written fanfiction:"Let's bring back Palpatine but let's not explain how.""Let's make another shocking family tree reveal involving paternal relations, there's only been two so far in the franchise.""Wouldn't it be cool if the outline of the dagger showed the correct location when viewed against a randomly scattered pile of space junk?""There's already 'First Order'. Hey, what about 'Final Order' since this is the final movie?""Let them believe some heroes die and then reveal they survived after all. Let's do something like this *twice*." (edit. three times, actually)The dialogue and especially the one-liners were comically bad even by SW standards. And the pacing was awfully tight, as if they tried to fit a movie twice as long into 2.5 hours. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/mT9Crt8
