His acting was so subdued and realistic in this film. It truly looks like he’s been depressed for years and every expression and movement is a manifestation of the pain that’s compacted inside of him. The movie and script is heartbreaking and he absolutely disappears into this damaged character. Though it’s not a super loud or expressive performance it’s one of the best in recent years in my opinion. It’s not a movie I’d be excited to watch again soon but it really made an impact on me. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/VnFP3lG
