Denzel's presence on screen is unmatched. Whatever roles he's in when he shows up you pay attention no matter what he's doing. He demands your attention and you give to him willingly. Wether he's a high school football coach or a bodyguard going through bodies to find a little girl you pay attention to whatever he does. His characters just leap off screen. You sympathized with him as a man trying to save his son in John Q, but despised him in Training Day. While he was a rat bastard in Fences you can't tell me you've never met a person who took their aggregation on their loved ones.
